Interim Pastor Mike Rue

Bro. Mike Rue is a church planter and missionary with Calvary Baptist Missions, with over 40 years of ministry experience planting and strengthening independent Baptist churches. He and his wife Margurite have been serving alongside Lighthouse Baptist Church, and following the passing of Pastor Hensley in December 2024, the congregation voted on December 28, 2024 to ask Bro. Rue to serve as Interim Pastor while the pulpit committee seeks God’s will for permanent leadership.

Bro. Rue brings a lifetime of faithfulness to the Word of God and a shepherd’s heart for the local church. His passion has always been to see churches planted, souls saved, and men called to preach — and that same vision guides his ministry at Lighthouse today.

Sister Margurite has been a faithful partner in ministry throughout their decades of church planting work. Together they are committed to the Lord’s work here in Payette as Lighthouse seeks the pastor God has prepared for this congregation.
